Yap has 20 years of successful track record in property development, property construction and real estate.

He previously led a mid-sized construction company for over 10 years, completed private and government-link construction projects valued at more than RM1 billion in Klang Valley, Johor and Sarawak.

Having worked on property developments with Gross Development Value (GDV) over RM2.5 billion, Yap is widely renowned as one of the leading experts on structuring land development in Klang Valley, in particular Kuala Lumpur.

Some of his achievements include a 52-storey high-rise residential development in Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC), a 55-storey high-rise mixed-used development in KLCC, and a 67-storey high-rise mixed-used development in Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur.

He has also successfully delivered development units worth hundreds of millions in Dollars to both local and foreign investors from Hong Kong, China, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, United Kingdom, Dubai and South Africa.

Yap holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Hons) from Northumbria University, Newcastle, United Kingdom.
